Earlier this month, facebook user Cissi Cook Rowan Cooper shared a photo of a ring with “Operation Desert Storm” circling a red in color stone. The ring looks similar to the rings that the Jostens company offers for the XVIII Airborne Corps. One side of the ring has the Army Eagle and the other side of the ring has the 18th Airborne Corps patch, both options which Jostens offers. The stone in the center appears to be either the colors of garnet, ruby or zircon.
According to the original poster, as a property manager, they realized that the renters had moved out without their knowledge. The renters had left some stuff behind in boxes and as the property manager cleared the unit, they found this ring in a box. The renters had supposedly stolen a lot from the property they were renting, so it is assumed that this ring is stolen also. There is no way to contact the renters, but the property manager would like to find the owner of the ring.
There are initials and what is described as an “unusual date” engraved on the inside of the ring. If you know someone who may be able to help track down the owner, please share this information with them, If you think the ring is yours, contact Cissi Cook Rowan Cooper to verify the engravings on the inside of the ring. You can also leave a comment here and we will contact Cissi Cook Rowan Cooper and share the information.
